Description:

MolLoc is a web server for the comparison of molecular surfaces, in particular of:

• binding sites
• cavities
• any residue selection

The server takes in input two molecules and superimposes them on their two most extended similar regions. This server can be used to test if two molecules with different sequences and folds share any local surface similarity.

Requirements:

This web server utilizes Jmol to visualize molecular structures. Please make sure you have Java Runtime Environment installed on your system with support for Java applets enabled in the browser.
